Expand the kitchen with wood top kitchen cart that provides added storage and working space, including a breakfast bar leaf. Three cabinets each have an adjustable and removable shelf giving customizable storage. In addition the cart has two utility drawers a knife block and a towel rack. The 20-inch deep top expands to 31-inch with an 11-inch deep Breakfast bar providing more work surface or a place to grab a quick nosh. Heavy duty locking casters make it mobile for greater utility. It is constructed from sustainable hardwood and has a clear coat finish helping to resist marring from normal use. Assembly required. Measures 54-inch width by 18-1/2-inch depth by 36-1/4-inch height.

I purchased one of these a couple of years ago. It has provided much more than I could have asked for the price paid. My kitchen is rather small with little work space. I needed a place to knead bread and do other things but also needed it to roll out of the way when not needed. This island turned out to be perfect. It does require a bit of assembly. Took me about 90 minutes. The result was a handsome & functional island in unfinished rubberwood. You can finish it with most stains or wood finishes but I would recommend leaving the countertop unfinished. More sanitary & easier to keep clean. (Yes, handled properly, wood is every bit as sanitary as plastic, stone, or metal. Keep ALL liquids off of it!) It's sturdy enough for hard kitchen use. I have pounded meat on it (on a cutting board) and beat bread dough to death. I have also used it as an impromptu breakfast bar & even rolled it onto the patio to use as a dry bar once. We recieved this item shortly after we ordered it. Unfortunately two pieces were damaged during shipment and had to contact the company to have replacement pieces sent. They were shipped quickly and without hassle. Assembly went fairly smoothly and we ended up with a pretty decent cart/island with good storage space. It looks good in our kitchen and doesn't look flimsy or cheap. We feel like we got a good deal for the money. It arrived within a week, and unlike some other reviews, it did have the wood top as advertised vs. a stainless steel. It only took a little over an hour to assemble, which is great compared to other types of do-it-yourself assembly. It gave me the extra storage I was looking for while giving me some seating in a kitchen where a table just won't work. I'm very happy with this purchase.
