After an exhausting and confusing web search for a kitchen cart, I took the plunge and purchased this to be delivered to my apartment. I was a little skeptical because many of the other similar on-line choices were priced as much as 2x to 3x more than this item. When it came, UPS had done a number on the the packaging and it was torn and crushed--I definitely expected the contents to be damaged. To my surprise and amazement, it was exceptionally well packed / crated and there was absolutely no damage to any of the pieces. The assembly was a snap and it really does look good.

The only reason I did not give 5 stars is that the two drawers are very shallow. Perhaps I just overlooked the dimensions of the drawers on the web description, but I assumed the drawer depth would be consistent with the cart top. 5.0 out of 5 stars Very well made, November 20, 2010

Lots of parts. They include extra hardware (screws and such). I put it together myself in about a hour. A great place to store a stand-up mixer or food processor. Easy to roll to where I need it.

3.0 out of 5 stars Seems nice if it had all the right parts, September 18, 2011

Having just moved into a house with insufficient counter and storage space, I thought this kitchen island/cart would alleviate the problem - and it even matches the kitchen cabinets. It arrived promptly, and the individual pieces seemed reasonably solid and not cheesy, as I had feared. Only one (big) problem: one structural piece was missing, and instead there were TWO of another piece that could not substitute for the missing piece. You can't put it together without the missing piece. I called the phone number on the instruction sheet and got a message saying that they weren't there during non-business hours, and that when they WERE there, it would take 3 - 5 days to SHIP the missing part. Since I started to put the thing together on a Friday night, this means that the earliest I can get the part is a week after my aborted try at assembly. I did, however, put together the drawers since those aren't dependent on the missing structural piece. It appears to be reasonably sturdy... Read more
